Results of Under-eye wrinkles correction with Fraxel laser

An Albany Cosmetic and Laser Center patient in her fifties presented with under-eye wrinkles. During the initial interview, she expressed concerns about the texture, wrinkles, and saggy skin around the ridge of the ocular orbit. After an initial consultation, Dr. Alhallak (Ph.D.) suggested Fraxeldual fractional laser 1550/1927. He performed the procedure with Darian Holtby, a certified medical aesthetician.

What is Fraxel Dual Laser?

It is a fractional laser that is colour-blind and utilizes water as a chromophore. The 1550 nm laser penetrates deeper and generates more heat to produce collagen, while the 1927 nm works superficially to provide better skin resurfacing. The Fraxel Dual Laser works perfectly to treat under-eye wrinkles.

The procedure of the under-eye treatment with laser

The client put on numbing cream for an hour before the procedure. The technician performed the Fraxel using the 1550 and passed the upper lid and under-eye area eight times.

Fraxel dual 1550/1927 uses tiny microscopic columns to penetrate deep into your skin, speeding up the collagen remodelling process in aging and sun-damaged skin.

Since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue unharmed and speeds up the healing process.

This treatment resurfaces your under-eye skin. It causes new, healthy skin cells to grow from the inside out.
