Thread Facelift Case # 1052

Thread FaceLift

Until recently, facelift surgery was the only procedure to correct jowls and drooping cheeks. The only way to remove loose skin completely is with a scalpel. Suppose a surgical facelift is not for you. The good news is that this new technology helps to bridge the gap between non-invasive and invasive facial rejuvenation. This threading method will save you money, but it will also speed up the healing process. Patients undergoing thread lift surgery can drive home and care for themselves immediately following the procedure.

What are the threads?

A thread lift is a technique that utilizes temporary stitches to create a faint but noticeable “lift” in the skin. NovaThreads are barbed sutures employed in this instance to assist in pulling back loose skin and tightening the area that had drooped over time. In addition to the previously mentioned benefits, this stimulates the body’s healing response and causes the body to create an abundance of collagen, which plays a significant role in the aging process.

Case study 1052

A female in her mid 50’s came in with concerns regarding her jowls and drooping cheeks. After carefully reviewing her options and keeping her medical history in mind, we decided to proceed with the NovaThreads by using four threads inserted in the area she desired. It took less than 45 minutes to perform this procedure, including the numbing cream application process and numbing injection points.

We created space for inserting threads using the TSK 19G blunt cannula. After placing the threads, the insertion mechanism is eliminated. You may feel a tiny pressure or tighten beneath the surface of your skin. We used a chiller before and after the treatment to decrease bruising and swelling.

Cost of Threadlift

The cost of this procedure is $250.00 per thread; in this case, four threads were used; therefore, the final price was $1000.00 plus tax.

Side effects of Thread Facelift
