A Story of Face Thread Lift Case # 1056

Until recently, facelift surgery was the only way to address jowls and drooping cheeks. Once loose skin is present, only a scalpel can truly remove it. However, if having a surgical facelift isn’t the right fit for you, you’ll be happy to know that a new type of procedure has been developed to fill the gap between non-invasive and invasive facial rejuvenation. This thread procedure that is offered today will not only save you money but will also shorten the healing process. Threadlift patients can drive home and look after themselves immediately after their procedure.

What are threads?

A thread lift is a procedure where temporary sutures produce a subtle but visible “lift” in the skin. In this case, NovaThreads are barbed sutures used to help pull back loose skin and tighten the area that drooped over time. In addition to the previous benefits, this also helps by provoking the body’s healing response and causing the body to produce a large rush of collagen, which plays a massive role in aging.

Thread lift Case 1056

A female in her mid 50’s came in with concerns regarding her drooping jowls and smile lines. After carefully reviewing her options and keeping her medical history in mind, we decided to proceed with the NovaThreads by using four inserted threads in the desired area. This specific procedure was done in under 45 minutes, including the numbing cream application process and numbing injection points.

The Thread Facelift Procedure

We used the TSK 19G blunt cannula to make room for the insertion of the threads. After the threads are inserted, the method of insertion will be removed. You may feel slight pressure or tighten under your skin. The chiller was used before and after the procedure to minimize bruising and swelling.

The Thread Lift Cost

The cost of this procedure is $250.00 per thread; in this case, eight threads were used; therefore, the final price was $2000.00 plus tax.

Side Effects of Thread Facelift

The main side effects to be expected are bruising and swelling, which lasts for about a week but varies with each person, depending on their skin type.
