Eye wrinkles case # 1034
Lots of people have eye wrinkles, especially when we smile. These wrinkles are part of the aging process and have no medical indication. As we grow older, so does our skin, and it would not be able to resurface itself. Moreover, the skin around the eyes is the thinnest in the facial area, and it gets wrinkles faster than other areas. As a result, it is uncommon to see these wrinkles early.
Type of wrinkles around the eye
Some wrinkles appear only when we make facial expressions, which we call dynamic wrinkles. As time passes, the continuous stretch of the skin turns these lines and wrinkles into static. Static lines are more annoying to people than they are all the time; they are called age lines.
Case 1034 of static eye wrinkles
caucasian male in his 60 who is concerned about the lines around the eyes. This case presents both static and dynamic lines. We discussed the case with the client and explained that Botox was not enough to handle this case. Therefore, we agreed to combine H.A. fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) with the muscle relaxant (Botox) to provide the best results.
Procedure
After taking the full medical history, we placed the H.A. filler (Juvederm Volbella) using a cannula 25G from TSK; we also injected a muscle relaxant (Botox or Dysport) to handle the dynamic wrinkles. The injections were performed using HPC ADVANCED HUB.
Cost and side Effects of eye wrinkles correction
Such a procedure might cost between $200 to $1000 depending on the type of wrinkles. The main concern is the bruising after the procedures.
Results
Fillers result in instant results; however, muscle relaxant such as Botox and Dysport takes about two weeks to show the full results.
