Thread Facelift Results
A silhouette facelift is the most advanced non-surgical facelift that any cosmetic clinic can provide. The threads are made of biodegradable sutures that offer immediate tightening and gradual regenerative results.
Threads were first used for cosmetic purposes in the late 1990s. However, Canada was late to adopt this practice. Threading is a simple but difficult technique. The threads are inserted through a cannula and tucked behind the skin.
What are the threads?
They are cosmetic sutures with different polymers such as Poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) and polydioxanone (PDO) threads. The advantage of threads is the immediate lifting without adding volume to the area.
